I was advised by our council advancement committee that we have been grandfathered into being able to not use the BSA blue cards this year.  We will enter all of the scout’s work into the http://www.meritbadge.info  website and present the leaders with a printout of their scout’s work.  Leaders of each unit can also log back into the website and click on “past events” and call up the same list and print it out at a later time, if needed.

The printout will say “Complete” for those boys who completed all of the requirements for a badge.  For those boys who didn’t complete all of the necessary requirements to complete the badge, the printout will list only those requirements that were actually completed (2, 3a, 4, 5a, 5b, 5c and so on).

This will make it much easier to keep up with “who did what” and eliminate the problem of lost blue cards.
