In the past, the district’s annual merit badge college event has been spaced out across three Saturdays in February. This has worked well for some scouts and scouters, and not so well for others.

Starting in 2013 we’re taking a whole new approach to presenting our annual merit badge event to our units. We’re consolidating the previous three Saturdays into an intense weekend camping event that leaves little time for anything but focusing on merit badges…and maybe a couple of hours sleep. For that reason, we’re also going to be providing tasty meals for all participants and their registered leaders.
